Maxine is a highly talented and vivacious harpist who began music at the age of 4. She started playing the Harp at the age of 9, due to the encouragement of her parents who were both members of the Halle Orchestra.

Maxine has a large classical wedding repertoire suitable for bridal entrance and exit, as well as plenty of choices for calming and relaxing background music during the signing of the register, reception and wedding meal.

Her performance throughout the day was absolutely breathtaking. She is a true professional and a wonderful talent! Pete L, Wedding, Cumbria

Maxine’s busy freelance career has seen her work with various symphony and ballet orchestras as well as the English National Ballet and City Ballet of London. Though she specialises in weddings, her solo career includes numerous concertos and recitals.

Maxine takes pride in a friendly, professional service and is one of the most experienced corporate and wedding harpists on our books!

Flute/harp duo

Maxine is also available as part of a flute/harp duo with flautist, Lindsay.

Lindsay studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and plays with various orchestras, including the Liverpool Sinfonia and the Welsh Chamber Orchestra and also enjoys a variety of solo and chamber work, which has led to performances on BBC Radio 3 and Radio Scotland (flute/harp clips available in the audio player to the right).
