Real weddings

Anna and Andy's stunning wedding in the USA was followed by a vibrant NYC-themed reception back in the UK at 53 Degrees North in Halifax where Agent Smith set the party off with a bang.

Anna & Andy

Our wedding took place in New York's stunning Central Park. We had a small intimate wedding, and only told close family we were getting married.

Agent Smith were amazing!

We had our wedding reception back in the UK at 53 Degrees North in Halifax, West Yorkshire. It's a beautiful modern bar with fantastic food. We're both foodies and wanted something a bit different so this was perfect.

We continued the American theme with pictures from New York streaming onto a white screen and American themed drinks for the guests upon arrival.

The incredible food was a personalised selection of Michael Ricci's menus from across his restaurants.

We found Agent Smith through an online search for rock and pop wedding bands in Yorkshire. They played a mixture of new and older classic hits and they were amazing!

Music is another of our passions and we wanted our guests to have a memorable experience at our party and most importantly get up & dance.

Agent Smith were easy to deal with and worked with us to ensure that all that we wanted was achieved at our wedding party - they got everyone on their feet dancing by the end of the night.

The sound quality and variety of music they play is exactly as detailed on the Function Central website, if not better live! We couldn't fault them and would recommend them to anyone wanting a live band.

Agent Smith playing Mr Brightside and everyone dancing to it was the highlight of the evening.

The staff at 53 Degrees North made sure everything went to plan and we can't fault the venue in any way. The food, quality of drinks, service we received was excellent and made the evening.

Function Central were really easy to deal with, answered all our queries promptly, and provided an excellent live band that were faultless.

I wouldn't hesitate in using them or Agent Smith again in the future.

Our top tip for anyone organising a destination wedding is not to hesitate in contacting the venue for supplier recommendations.

For my makeup and hair, I didn't have time to go for trials in New York before the wedding so I had trials in Yorkshire and sent pictures to the NY suppliers which worked well.
