We chose Hampton Manor Hotel as our venue for many reasons – the building and grounds are stunning, with the Manor having a slightly gothic feel, balanced out by the fantastic interior design that compliments the history of the building.

On a rainy night the band really livened up the party, making staying inside a great place to be!

We didn't go for a particular theme, but we wanted it to be classic – I picked a venue, dress, accessories and husband I hoped would be timeless! I also wanted a bit of a fairytale feel to the wedding, as doesn't every girl!

We had our reception in the Orangery due as it was so light and airy - like being outside without all the associated issues of hosting a reception outside (in our case: RAIN!!!).

After browsing Warwickshire wedding bands we eventually decided on a London band, All Night Long, who provided fantastic jazz background music to our event without over-powering it, and I think this worked perfectly. In the evening they played Motown music, which had a real get-up-and-dance vibe – loads of atmosphere and everyone had a good time. They played songs everyone could dance to, old and new.

We had seen the band before at a friends wedding and loved how versatile they were, covering loads of different musical genres. They truly livened up the party on a rainy night, making staying inside a great place to be!

Apart from from saying "I do", my favourite moments of the day were Rich getting up and singing Lionel Richie's All Night Long with the band.

Also, just being surrounded by everyone I love and being able to celebrate with every one of them.

My top recommendation to other brides and grooms is: have a band - it's really worth the extra cash and you won't forget the atmosphere they create!!
