Where did you get married?

Our wedding took part of Blake's family home in Staple Fitzpaine. This was obviously very special to us to hold it there being a family home of in excess of 25 years.

We were absolutely overjoyed with our choice... I don't think the dance floor was empty at any point!

We created an outdoor garden party/mini festival theme. We had a marquee and outdoor games. We wanted to create a laid back relaxed feel and most importantly a wedding where everyone could let their hair down!!

What was your favourite moment of the day?

The whole day for me was just truly amazing and I couldn't have wished for anything better. My favourite part of the day was the fact everyone was together, as people had travelled from as far as America and Australia!

Seeing my Grandma being spun round the dance floor by my new groom was a highlight!! Myself and Blake also did a little crowd surfing before the end of the night as well!!

How did you choose your wedding band?

We chose The Wild Nights Duo after finding them on Function Central. We felt they fitted the theme we were trying to create perfectly and boy were we right!! We loved the song list they provided for us to choose from!

What did you think of the band?

We were absolutely overjoyed with our choice. Everyone down to the youngest guests of age 2, right up the oldest (won't age shame!) were dancing and the music they played really appealed to everyone!!

I don't think the dance floor was empty at any point! They were both incredibly professional and very helpful in the process leading up to the big day!

We found Function Central via a Google search for live wedding bands in Somerset. We were impressed with the amount of acts they had to chose from and the layout of the website made it easier to make that important selection.

What advice would you give to other couples planning a wedding?

My advice to other couples is to enjoy every minute as it goes by too fast! Don't get to caught up in the small details as when it gets to the day you will see these don't really matter and just having everyone with you to share that day is what it is really about!
