Where did you get married?

The wedding took place at St Stephen's, Hampstead. We chose it because it was such a stunning building and in a beautiful area of London.

Our reception was held at The Old Finsbury Town Hall.

Function Central were absolutely brilliant... The acts we hired were both just fantastic.

The venue is art nouveau so we wanted the feel to be sophisticated, beautiful and elegant, but most importantly we wanted people to just have fun.

Why did you decide to book live music for the day?

Music is one of things guests remember most so we knew it was key to ensure we had great music acts throughout the day to create the best atmosphere. We picked Jon because he has a great repertoire and his videos sounded great, and I loved Billie's voice.

What were your favourite moments of the day?

The ceremony of course, walking in with Billie singing, and getting the buses to the reception! At the reception, the room singing along to 'Your Song' when Jon played was definitely a highlight.

How did you come across Function Central?

We found Function Central and then Billie via a search for wedding singers. We then found Jon in their pianist roster. There is a vast choice of musicians and you can watch demo videos before booking.

What did you think of Jon Jones and Billie C?

I loved Billie's voice and repertoire, and wow she was incredible!

Jon was absolutely brilliant, many guests have said he was a big highlight. Not only did he sound incredible, get everyone in the room singing and dancing, but Jon was also incredibly kind.

We were running late and he was so patient and happy to accommodate. We would recommend him to anyone!

What advice would you give other couples planning a wedding?

Just do exactly what you've always wanted, and if it's taking a risk with some a bit different just go for it. I'd also advise finding an act that covers a range of music to suit all tastes. Everyone loves an old classic!
