We held our wedding reception at the Crowne Plaza, Liverpool. The hotel is in a great location, with lovely views of the River Mersey. We aimed to have a great day with all of our family and friends and it was all really relaxed.

The music was brilliant throughout the night, and the dance-floor was never empty! Everyone commented on how great the band were!

We hired one of Function Central's Liverpool wedding bands, The Different Lights for our evening wedding reception, and they were a very professional act. They arrived on time to set up, and then changed into their outfits for the night, so they all looked very smart.

We were very satisfied with the band, and were so impressed at how professional they all were. The music throughout the night was great, they'd even asked us what our favourite bands and musicians are prior to the night, so that they could include all our favourite artists in their set. We also liked the fact that The Different Lights were a local Liverpool band!

The band sang New York, New York for me at 12:00 as my husband surprised me with a trip to New York for my birthday! (My birthday is the 2nd June, and the wedding was the 1st June).
