Harpist Sophie Maria provided the music at Rebecca & Aiden's Aberdeen wedding. Maryculter House provided the beautifully traditional venue for this stunning celebration.

Where did your event take place?

Our wedding was at Maryculter House in Aberdeen. It's a beautiful venue on the river Dee and it looked stunning.

What sort of look/feel/theme did you try to create on the day?

We wanted a really romantic feel to everything which hopefully added a lot to the occasion.

Wow - Sophie Maria was amazing. From our first meeting to the wedding day, her talent is incredible.

Why did you book live music for the day?

We chose Sophie Maria to play the bridal party down the aisle and for guest entertainment.

She had a large selection of songs to chose from of all different styles. We accidentally selected a song which was not on the list (same artist) however this was no problem for sophie and she played it on the day.

We had so many compliments from our wedding guests on her talent and would definitely recommend to all our family and friends. We hope to see Sophie again soon (hopefully at a friends or family wedding!) Thank you!

What were your favourite moments of the day?

Being just married and surroundered by all our family and friends covered in confetti!
