We were looking for a timeless and classy look and feel and felt that having a 60s cover band would be fun and appeal to people of lots of ages as well as get people up and dancing.

The band really got everyone up, dancing and singing along.

The venue was recommended by family friends who had attended a wedding there. It is also near to my parents home and near many friends.

We hired The Mod Cons as I love live music. The Mod Cons offered a mixture of 60s music and contemporary which was perfect for our wedding.

I found Function Central through a Google search on wedding bands in the West Midlands. The Function Central website has demos from their artists which is really reassuring as it gives you an immediate feel to whether the act are right for you.

We were completely satisfied with the band. We had brilliant feedback from our guests and the band really got everyone up, dancing and singing along.

We would definitely recommend the Mod Cons and use them again!

The Mod Cons were fantastic and had a great look too, wearing Mod-inspired clothing.

One of our stand out moments was the last song The Mod Cons played. Most of the wedding party were up on the dancefloor singing along to Hey Jude. A great song to end on!
