Our ceremony took place at Westonbirt Arboretum – I loved to come here as a child and we both wanted an outdoor wedding surrounded by the countryside.

We were both delighted with the Wild Nights, many of our friends and family commented on how much they enjoyed the band.

Our reception was held later in the day at home in a tipi in the garden.

We tried to create a rustic/woodland theme to our wedding with a very relaxed and unregimented feel to the the day, We had food stations serving different types of food and open seating so everyone could move around freely throughout the evening and into the night.

One of our favorite moments was the horse and cart ride to take us from the ceremony to the reception, we had no idea that this had been organized for us, It was a brilliant surprise, and lovely to spend a short amount of time with just the two of us. We had a fantastic day, there are so many favorite moments to choose from.

We chose the Wild Nights to play at our reception as we thought they sounded great when we listened to them on the Function Central website. We also loved the variety of music they listed, loads of songs that we both love. We thought it was great that they played as an acoustic duo first, a great way to start the evening off!

I found Function Central after searching the internet for wedding bands in Gloucestershire, it was great to find a large variety of different bands. We choose to book with you as unlike other sites it was very clear what we were paying for and how much it would cost.

We were both delighted with the Wild Nights, many of our friends and family commented on how much they enjoyed the band. I spoke to band member Jonny beforehand and explained how I wanted a relaxed feel to our wedding and could give him only a little information about time scheduals and other details.

On the day the band were brilliant they knew exactly when and what to play to really get the party going, they gave us a fantastic end to the day.

I would advise other brides/grooms to try and arrange just a short amount of time in the day to enjoy some time alone together. The day will fly by so enjoy every second!
