Laura and Tom wanted to create a real party atmosphere for their wedding at Southend Barns in Chichister and chose The Confidentials to help them achieve it!
We got married at Southend Barns, Chichister and had a strong emphasis on music for the wedding, with a real gig/party feel.
We could not have asked asked for a better band, they really made the evening.
We wanted a relaxed atmosphere where people got involved in dancing and letting their hair down.
We chose The Confidentials after watching through and listening to a number of acts, as they seemed to be the most interactive of the wedding bands we saw and they looked to genuinely be having fun.
They came recommended by friends who had used them for their wedding band. We would have preferred it if we were able to see bands performing live before choosing but can understand the reasons for that.
We were incredibly pleased with The Confidentials. We could not have asked asked for a better band, they really made the evening, as we had hoped. The dance floor was packed from the first dance to the close. We received so much positive feedback from people through the night and since.
The band helped to create a real party atmosphere, including tailoring their second set to further increase the crowd interaction and involvement. Could not recommend these guys highly enough. They were also a good set of chaps who we were easily approachable and seemed genuinely pleased to be part of our special celebrations.
Our advice to other couples is to listen to as many wedding bands as you can, including watching as many videos as you can. Also, do not hesitate to ask for any specifics that you want, as the band were really helpful.
Other than the actual wedding, I think my favourite moment was just seeing how busy the dance floor was, which is what we were after. Everyone had a song they loved and really got into.
The first dance song (Twist and Shout - The Beatles) was also absolutely nailed. It was a great intro which got everyone up dancing at the right point, just because they had to as the music was so amazing. Other than that, possibly when the impromptu conga started and seemed to sweep up the most unlikely mix of people!!
Sensational all-male rock and pop trio who never fail to get their audiences jumping and singing along to the biggest tunes of the last 60 years. Elvis, The Stones, Bowie, Oasis: they’re all there!
