Victoria and Paul's wedding was a beautiful hand-made affair, with purple and pansies. The Ventures got the guests rocking out, and the bride couldn't stop dancing!
Our wedding was at Tewinbury Farm in Hertfordshire, a stunning 17th century tithe barn.
The theme for the wedding was buttons and pansies and we wanted to create a handmade wedding with a garden feel.
I (the bride) made all the decorations and elements of the day! The colours throughout were ivory and purple.
We had an acoustic duo for the ceremony, and then The Ventures for after-dinner dancing. The Ventures were exactly what we wanted for the upbeat evening reception.
We were so happy with having chosen The Ventures as our band! The music was great and the band were happy to receive our friends' requests in advance and accommodate them in their set list.
Favourite part of the day was the wedding ceremony! Followed by our first dance and the rest of the dancing to The Ventures in the evening.
Towards the end of the reception there were only a few family and friends left and I ended up dancing in my pyjamas as I didn't want to stop!
My advice to future brides would be to give yourself plenty of time to listen to the different band options, and to book way in advance.
